Benoit Beauchamp is a contemporary artist spezializing in live performance. Beauchamp received his MFA in Scenic and Lighting Design from the California Institute of the Arts.
Recent lighting design work includes a large number of dance concerts at SUNY Brockport and Dean College. In addition, he has been lighting many dance concerts and theatre festivals around the country with various choreographers and directors. He also manage various dance concerts around the country.
Currently working at SUNY Brockport as the Director of Dance Production. He coordinate our 8+ dance concerts each school year plus incoming guest artist as they past through our performance spaces.
Before working in New York, he produced dance at the University of Virginia where he coordinated multiple dance residencies for the University, working with artists such as Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, AXIS Dance Company, and various independent choreographers from the USA and Canada. Beauchamp’s lighting has been seen internationally with work that has been produced across the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia.
