Looks like I have been bitten by the Chi, actually, to be more exact, by the ChiRunning. I run daily to get my fix. What can I say, I’m addicted and even more so now because of better form which in return use less energy. As you guess it, I started reading the book a week ago but even tho, I havent stop running and let me tell you, what a great push. The days of gasping for air are over and well, even tho that I’m not a master of ChiRunning just by reading the book, it has been a great ressource and gave me tremendous help. There is a lot of stuff on this online but here an excerpt from the ChiRunning web site.
ChiRunning is for people of every level, whether you’re just getting started running or planning to participate in a marathon, half marathon, ultra marathon, triathlon, 10k or 5k race. ChiRunning has helped many people, from beginners to cross country runners to triathletes.
ChiRunning helps reduce or eliminate injury and pain such as: knee pain, hip pain, IT Band Syndrome (ITB), hamstring pulls, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, soreness and fatigue. Conditioning your mind is just as important as conditioning your body. Let ChiRunning help you focus your mind, lift your spirit and open up your flow of chi.
In addition to learning the secrets to pain-free running, the ChiRunning book gives you information about applying ChiRunning to race training, trail running, interval training, endurance running, running efficiency, as well as lifestyle habits and a healthy diet for more energy. The ChiRunning book and DVD should be a part of every runner’s library.
I agree that the book at least should be part of any runner’s library, well, on second thought, don’t get it. It’s all a dream. I will win you over! *evil me* Sorry about that.
For more information you should also read or listen to NPR story on this matter.

I’ve never heard of ChiRunning. I’ll have to look into it as I always get asked about pain-free running.
