Improv On The Street

What might seem like a really weird day at Home Depot in Manhattan is just a group of improv. A group of people invaded the retail store and started to improvise in slow motion. They improv what they would usually do in the store but with a twist, they were acting like they were really slow, as in, slow motion. I find this smart and very entertaining in a fresh new way. Be sure to check out the Improv Everywhere web site to see some of the employee reaction. Improvisation is the act of making something up as it is performed. It’s as is, a role playing game happening in real time, in the retail mega store and with real people. This particular type of role playing game in real life will increase in the future. Site like newmindspace is at the forefront of this happening, be sure to check it all out.

I wonder where theatre fits in with all of this?
